Greetings from an extremely hot and dry Zimbabwe! It was 18c degrees at 5:30am and it’s now 30c at Midday. It’s seriously hot and sticky with loads of mosquitoes at night!
We have had almost no rain for months now and drought is widespread throughout the country and region. Please pray our God will bring relief to the many who are suffering in these days.
We have had a good couple of months since our last newsletter, all the children are healthy and well, everyone is on Christmas holidays and exams are finished for this year. Here are a few highlights to help you see how God has been answering your prayers.
Our 6 not so small girls, Esther, Sarah, Faith, Ruth, Hannah and Abigail finished their time at Maranatha PS with final exams and we are delighted to say they all passed! So it’s onward to Maranatha HS in January, there is a lot of trepidation and wonder about this move but we believe they will be ok. Please pray God would help them to settle in and make new friends, that they will be able to manage the work and that they will be happy in Jesus.
They all looked fab at their graduation where Ruth took the ‘Athlete of the Year’ prize and Esther got superb results. Thank you for praying, we are so appreciative and God has certainly blessed the girls.
We celebrated our Kuda’s 17th birthday and praise God for this special child, we were told she would die after 6 weeks when we found her at just a few weeks old BUT GOD had other plans for Kuda. She is a tremendous blessing to us all and Aunt Eliza who is her primary carer deserves much praise for her tender love and care poured out on Kuda. God bless her.
Grace sat her Cambridge O levels and she believes she did well, we will find out in January and hopefully, she will have done well enough to go on to her A levels God willing. Joseph, Hope and Blessing are trying hard and have just finished 3rd year in HS with their O levels being on the agenda in 2025. Please pray their hard work will deliver good results, they are working hard. Grace, Blessing, Hope and Joseph had a chance to dress up for their youth club formal and looked absolutely fantastic!
Thank you to everyone who has blessed our children with prayer, love and finances over the years, I’m sure you are as proud of them as we are!
As we approach Christmas and New Year 2025 we want to thank every one of you who are standing with us, we love and appreciate your sacrifices and love in so many ways. We pray Gods richest blessing upon you and your family and may the wonder of our Lord Jesus entrance into the world captivate us all at this time!
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM ALL OF US AT JABULANI.
In Jesus Christ our Lord,
Alan and Dorothy
